By signing this contract you are confirming that whilst you are providing services to 4Cleaning Limited you are doing so in the capacity of a self employed Cleaner and not as an employee of 4Cleaning Limited.

You are obliged to:

● Act in a professional manner at all times.

● Make all reasonable attempts to work to the clients’ deadline.

● Observe Health & Safety regulations.

● Correct any defective work in your own time and at your own cost.

● Pay your own Tax and National Insurance.

● Provide a weekly timesheet for payment.

● Provide 4Cleaning Limited with 72 hours notice if a job cannot be done.

Description of duties:

You, as a self employed cleaner, will be offered cleaning jobs at various locations. Upon agreement, you will be required to satisfy the client’s requirements within the time frame specified. The details of the job will be explained at the time of offer along with the expected hours in which to complete it. On accepting the job, you are expected to attend and complete the job alone unless instructed to attend with co-workers by 4Cleaning Limited. If work has not been completed to a satisfactory level as detailed in the assignment of the job, payments may be placed on hold or deducted at the discretion of management.

Place of work:

Your place of work will vary and you will be offered work in locations within reasonable distance. 4Cleaning Limited may occasionally also offer work in further locations. The acceptance of these jobs is at your discretion. Your place of work may vary from domestic to commercial properties. It is your responsibility to prepare for the travel to and from the location. It is your responsibility to arrive on time to start the job. If this cannot be met, 4Cleaning Limited should be contacted immediately.

Pay:

You will be paid £12.71/per hour for general cleans and £13.71/per hour for deep/specialist cleans. You will be paid 1 week in arrears each fortnight providing your timesheet is submitted by 7pm Saturday of each week.

Hours of work:

Your hours of work are variable and agreed between yourself and 4Cleaning Limited at the time of accepting the job.

Equipment:

4Cleaning Limited will provide you with a cleaning kit consisting of industrial cleaning items and equipment to carry out your duties effectively. These must be taken care of and kept with the cleaner at all times. You may be required to use other products at the client’s request also. The use of the equipment must reflect the work carried out and will be replenished accordingly. Upon the expiry or termination of this agreement, you will return the cleaning kit provided and any other equipment/ uniform, which is the property of 4Cleaning Limited. Failure to do so may result in deductions from final pay.

Uniform:

4Cleaning Limited will provide you with a T-shirt or apron which must be worn whilst carrying out all cleaning services.

Notice of termination:

Should you no longer wish to accept work from 4Cleaning Limited. You should inform 4Cleaning Limited after completing outstanding work or work agreed upon and before accepting further work. If you have agreed to work regularly for set clients, you must provide 4Cleaning Limited 30 days notice in order to cover the clients contract. Should you wish to decline work for a specified length of time, you should inform 4Cleaning Limited after completing outstanding work or work agreed upon and before accepting further work.

Non-compete clause:

Whilst under the employment of 4Cleaning Limited and for a period of 12 months following the termination of your employment, you will not, for yourself or on behalf of any other person or business, engage in any business activity which is competitive with the company. By agreeing to this contract, you agree not to solicit any client of the company to terminate or breach their relationship with the company. You further agree not to disclose the names and addresses of any of the clients of the company or any other information pertaining to them.

General

This agreement may be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of the Parties. By signing this contract, you are agreeing to be bound by its terms and you are agreeing that these terms will govern the working relationship between you and 4Cleaning Limited.
